Turnkey Solution now available on 60+sites in ELC’s portfolio of 300+ DTC

I launched ELC’s 1st search relevance and product ranking algorithms that saved over 600+ weekly hours (equivalent to estimated $1M in operational costs savings) and empowered over 1K+ global merchandisers across 5 regions over 50+ markets— gaining unprecedented efficiency and impact for Estee Lauder’s DTC channels.

As product lead, I identified customer pain points by interviewing internal stakeholders (ELC’s Brand Merchandising Teams) and crafted innovative product ranking algorithms roadmap for Category Product Listings and Search Results Pages. This included rank products by sales, rank by discounts, rank by newness, rank by profit margin.

I trained over 1K+ merchants globally how to apply these rankings in their day-to-day operations, eventually empowering and enabling them to become the experts of the rankings for their categories.

With these product rankings and evaluation tools in hand, they were able to rapidly iterate toward site merchandising strategies that consistently produced the desired Product Click Through Rates and Add to Bag Rates in Search and the Top 10 Category listings that met our OKR goals.

I collaborated with engineering, data science, experimentation, and external vendor partners to build, test, and launch the rankings across 30 sites. As a result, I delivered a scalable solution that improved efficiency, enhanced site performance, and empowered merchandisers with more impactful & advanced merchandising strategies for their Brand.com sites.
